Le Centre Communal d’Actions Sociales de Fort-de-France, à mit en place des politiques publiques en directions des personnes âgées et porteuses de handicap. Il vient en aide à ces personnes en leur donnant accès aux droits ou prestations légales en réalisant la constitution de dossiers (APA, ASPA, téléasssitance, admission en établissement ou en famille d’accueil,aide ménagère, portage de repas et recensement de personne âgées et/ou en situation de handicap, vulnérables et isolées en prévision des catastrophes naturelles.)
